Stavros Hatzigrigoris is currently the Technical Director of Zodiac Maritime and the founder of Advanced Engineering Services since 2022.
Mr. Hatzigrigoris was formerly the Managing Director of Maran Gas Maritime Inc., a position which he held from 2003 to 2020. For the years from 1992 to 2013, he also held the position of Managing Director of Maran Tankers Management Inc. Mr. Hatzigrigoris joined Anangel Shipping Enterprises S.A. in 1981 as a Superintendent Engineer.
Mr. Hatzigrigoris is a council member of MARTECMA, a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineers and has served in the past as one of the SNAME International Vice Presidents. He is a member of the ABS Technical Committee, the Chairman of the DNV Technical Committee, a member of the Greek Technical Committees of LRS, KR and CCS and the Secretary General of the Board of ELINT (Helenic Institue of Marine Technology).
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from University College London, an M.Sc. degree in Marine Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and studied Management of Ship Operations at the University of Strathclyde.
